Proxy Access to Records for Children

Following the guidance published by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), proxy access will be removed for patients who reach the age of 11 years old.

 

Access may be granted again on a case-by-case basis following on from this in consultation with the child’s named GP where the GP agrees it is in the patient’s best interest.
