We are a GP training Practice and have up to 3 resident registrars at any one time. Normally they work on a 4 month placement.
Clinical Pharmacists
Clinical pharmacists are important members of the multidisciplinary team within primary care networks (PCNs), which were established across England in July 2019. Our Pharmacists take responsibility for the care management of patients with chronic diseases and undertake clinical medication reviews to proactively manage people with complex polypharmacy, especially the elderly, people in care homes, those with multiple co-morbidities (in particular frailty, COPD and asthma) and people with learning disabilities or autism.

First Contact Physiotherapists
First contact physiotherapists are important members of the multidisciplinary team within primary care networks (PCNs), which were established across England in July 2019. Our physiotherapists are able to assess new and existing musculoskeletal problems, including diagnosing conditions, offering physiotherapist advice, arranging for further imaging and referring to the hospital hub for further review.

Reception
Receptionists are often the first person our patients see. They use customer service and admin skills to welcome people to the surgery. The reception team have a wealth of experience and information to hand. They will help you with appointments, repeat prescriptions, practice information, hospital transport etc. All information is treated in total confidence. There is a private room next to reception should you wish to discuss a private, confidential or sensitive matter with any member of staff. Please ask at reception if you wish to use this facility. Our reception team are here to help and support you.

Patients who live more than a mile away from surgery or nearest chemist are eligible to use our dispensing service. This includes most patients who live outside of Southwell. Please do not hesitate to contact the dispensary if you are unsure.
